Welcome to Social Check Professional. These Terms of Service (“ToS”) govern your use of our services. By using our services, you agree to comply with these terms. Please read them carefully.

3. Services

Social Check Professional offers checks of freely accessible social media and other media for content that supports hiring decisions. These checks are carried out in good faith but are limited to the quality of information available to us. We may not find accounts in different names or using different identities. If you are not satisfied with our services, we offer a full refund, no questions asked. However, your feedback would be very welcome to help us improve.

4. User Responsibilities

Users must be engaged in hiring or managing staff teams who are fully aware that checks are being made. While we screen information for protected characteristics, we do not guarantee to catch all instances. Users must exercise their own judgment on the validity or otherwise of the information provided.

5. Account Information

To use our services, users must create an account as part of the checkout process and provide an email address where the report can be sent. We do not upload reports to our server to minimize data risk. To create an account, users need to provide a name, email address, and school or business name. Complex passwords must be used to maintain the security of our site.

6. Payment and Billing

Accounts can be settled either by card or invoice. Invoice payments must be made within the specified terms or penalties may apply. Once we have started work, cancellations are not possible. Please email us as soon as possible if you need to cancel.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

We keep your email, name, and school on file for 18 months before deletion. You can delete your details at any time via the profile tab. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for further details on how we handle your personal data.

8. Intellectual Property

Reports provided by Social Check Professional are intended solely for the use of the hiring manager to carry out their duties. Copies may be shared with the subject of the report but must not be shared for any other purpose. We do not accept any responsibility for damages resulting from the sharing of the report beyond the commissioning manager. The purchasing individual assumes full responsibility for the report once it is delivered. We only keep reports for one month following production and cannot provide copies beyond this.  We may reference publicly available copyrighted materials but will only provide references and summaries.  We accept no liability for any actions of the user once the report is provided. 

9. Termination

Users can terminate their accounts at any time using the profile tab.

10. Dispute Resolution

Disputes and complaints will be resolved as swiftly as possible. Please contact our customer service via the provided email or contact form for any issues.

11. Modifications

We may update these ToS periodically. Users will be notified of significant changes via email or through our website. Continued use of our services after such modifications constitutes your agreement to the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These ToS are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any legal actions will be conducted in the appropriate courts of this jurisdiction.
